How much time took to Doug to think the project of “Frontier”?
We began shaping together an idea when we started discussing the project with H+ and Enel back in March, though it has since undergone many different permutations. On a project like Sleepwalkers at MoMA, the work became a process of transforming the existing architecture into a living entity. This work was really guided by the location selection and the structure design, so in a sense we worked a bit backwards from our usual method. Once the location was secure and we began designing the structure, the script really started to take shape.

How is to work with Doug Aitken?
Different everyday. We get ourselves into some strange scenarios.

How much is it that you 2 work together?
We’ve worked together for over 3 years. We first began with Doug on the Sleepwalkers film installed on the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Somehow it seems so much longer…
